One of the digital concept arts for the cheetah in my current animation project. He is referred to simply as... cheetah. My thought process was that I could design a complex looking character to begin with, get a general look,then simplify it for the animation. Worked out pretty well methinks ;)
I've been using PantTool SAI for this. God, that program is orgasmic.
Alright, maybe not. But linearting in that program.... urgh, it's amazing!
This cheetah is a King Cheetah, hence the huge spots and the stripes (not very visible from this angle) down his back.
